Stilbe

           In Greek mythology, Stilble was described as the daughter of river god Peneus and the Naiad Creusa. Stilbe was the Naiad nymph was spring, well, or fountain of the Lapiths in Thessalia (northern Greece).

 Stilbe was the lover of  of the god, Apollo and bore him a son named Lapithus, ancestor of the Lapiths . According to some version she and Apollo were the parents of Centaurus. Centaurus, who mated with the mated with the Magnesian mares and became father of Centaurs.  
                                               In some version, Cychreus, the king of Salimis, son of sea god, Poseidon, and nymph Salimis, had sex with Stilbe and became the father of Chariclo (wife of Centaur Chiron).
