Pandora

                                    In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first human woman created by Hephaestus on instruction of Zeus. As Prometheus steal fire from heaven to arm human race. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mold Pandora out of earth as part of punishment for human race. Aphrodite gave her beauty and desire. 
Hermes gave her a cunning mind and crafty tongue. Athena gave her clothes and taught her how to skillfully use her hands. Poseidon gave her a pearl necklace that would prevent her from drowning. Apollo taught her about music, how to sing and play instruments. Zeus gave her a foolish, mischievous nature, and as last one Hera gave her the tricky gift, curiosity.
Pandora was presented to Epimetheus, he instantly fell in love with her and married her without consideration. Even his brother Prometheus warned never to accept any gift from Zeus. Zeus gave Pandora a beautiful jar with instruction not to open it under any circumstance. Impelled by her curiosity (given to her by gods), Pandora open it and all evil contained therein escaped and spread over the earth. Out of the box escaped all horrors such as greed, envy, pain, illness which are present since then. She hastened to close the container, but the whole contents had escaped, except for one thing that lay at the bottom- the spirit of Hope named Elpis. Pandora, deeply saddened by what she had done, feared she would have to face Zeus's wrath. Since she had falled her duty. However Zeus did not punish Pandora because he know this would happen.

Epimetheus

Epimetheus was the son of Iapetus. His name means 'afterthought', the god of excuses as his head start thinking, when he relised that he has done something wrong. According to legend Epimetheus and his brother Prometheus were given the task of populating the earth with animals and men. 
                               Prometheus had assigned Epimetheus the task of giving the creatures of earth their various quailities, such as swiftness, cunning, strength, fur, wings, etc. However because of Epimetheus lack of foresight, he used all of quailities for animals, not leaving a single thing for man (master-piece of Prometheus). As a result Prometheus was forced to steal fire from heaven to arm them. 

                     Zeus was angered by this theft and ordered the creation of Pandora the first woman, as a means to deliver evil into the house of man.  Pandora was presented to Epimetheus, he instantly fell in love with her and married her without consideration. Even his brother Prometheus warned never to accept any gift from Zeus.

Prometheus

Prometheus

                               Prometheus was the son of Iapetus. His name mean 'forethought' and he was able to foretell the future. He was a master craftsman and a supreme trickster, and he was sometimes associated with the the creation of humans. According to legend, Prometheus and his brother Epimetheus were given the task of populating the earth with animals and men.

Athena breathed life into man

                                  Prometheus shaped man out of mud and Athena breathed life into his clay figure. Prometheus had assigned Epimetheus the task of giving the creatures of the earth their various qualities, such as swiftness, cunning, strength, fur, wings, etc. Unfortunately, by the time he got to man Epimetheus had given all the good qualities out and there was nothing left for man. So Prometheus decided to make man stand upright as the gods did and gave them fire. When Zeus gave an order that man must present a portion of each animal they sacrificed to the gods. 
            Prometheus decided to trick Zeus. He created two piles, one with the bone wrapped in juicy fat and other with the good meat hidden in the hide. He than bade Zeus to pick, Zeus pick the bones. Since Zeus had given his word Zeus had to accept that as his share for future sacrifices. In his anger over the trick he took fire away from man. However, Prometheus lit a torch from the sun and brought it back again to man. Zeus decided to inflict a terrible punishment on both human and Prometheus.

Pandora

                                 Zeus order Hephaestus to make a woman out of earth, who by her charms and beauty should bring misery upon the human race. Aphrodite adorned her with beauty, Hermes gave her boldness and cunning and gods called her Pandora. Zeus also ordered Hephaestus to chain Prometheus to a rock in Sujthia, which was done in the presence of Cratos and Bai two ministers of Zeus.

Eachday an eagle the emblem of Zeus was sent to feed on his liver, which would then grow back to be eaten again the next day. (In ancient Greece, the liver was thought to be the seat of human emotion.) Zeus gave Prometheus two ways out of this torment. He could tell Zeus who the mother of the child that would dethrone him or meet two conditions, first that an immortal must volunteer to die for Prometheus and second that a mortal must kill the eagle and unchain him. 

Prometheus and Hercules

Eventually Chiron the Centaur agree to die for him and Hercules killed the eagle and unbound him.

Menoitios

Menoitios or Menoitius was son of Iapetus and Clymene or Asia and a brother of Atlas, Prometheus, and Epimetheus. Menoitios was Titan god of violent anger, rash action, and human mortality. He was killed by Zeus in the fight of Titans and thrown into Tartarus.

Ceto

1.Ceto:- Ceto or Keto was daughter of Pontus and Gaea. She was a marine goddess who personified the danger of the sea. She was more specifically a goddess of whales, large sharks, and sea monsters.

 Ceto consort was her brother, the sea god Phorkys, by whom she conceived Ekhidna (the viper), Skylla (the crab), Ladon (the dragon), the Graia, and Gorgones. As mother of Skylla Ceto was also called Krataiis or Crataeis.

2. Ceto:- Keto or Ceto was an Indian Oceanid Naiad Nymph loved by the sun-god Helios.

 She bore him a daughter named Astris, the star-nymphe wife of the Indian river-god Hydaspes.
