   In Greek mythology, Thronia was described as the princess of  Egypt, in North Africa (Aigyptus) and daughter of Belus, the king of Egypt.  Thronia was loved by Hermes and  bore him a son, named Arabus.

   In Greek mythology, Thronia was described as the  Naiad nymph of the spring, well or fountains and daughter of river Nestus. 
Thronia

Thronia was loved by the sea god,Poseidon, and bore him a son, Abderus. The town of Abdera in Bistonia, Thrake, was founded by her son Abderus.
